Hi, I'm Amanda, founder of Teanaway Tallow Co.

I've called Cle Elum home for over 30 years, and I'm proud to be a true local. When I'm not making tallow products, you'll usually find me spending time with my family—exploring the woods, foraging, fishing, taking scenic drives, or hiking the beautiful trails that make our little corner of Washington so special.

My journey with tallow started for two very personal reasons.

As a mom, I was searching for a more natural way to care for my son's skin during an eczema flare-up. Like many parents, I found myself relying on prescription steroid creams and wondering if there was another option. I wanted something simple, nourishing, and made with ingredients I could trust.

At the same time, I was on my own skincare journey. I've always loved skincare, but I struggled to find products that checked all the boxes—clean ingredients, acne-friendly, truly moisturizing, and affordable. It felt like I was constantly compromising between quality, price, and performance.

When I discovered tallow, everything changed.

I was amazed by how well it worked with the skin, providing lasting moisture without the long list of synthetic ingredients found in many conventional products. The more I learned, the more I realized that sometimes the best skincare solutions are the simplest ones.

That passion eventually became Teanaway Tallow Co.

As tallow has grown in popularity, more and more brands have entered the market. While anyone can make a tallow product, I believe what sets Teanaway Tallow Co. apart is the care and intention behind every jar. I am committed to sourcing only the highest quality ingredients, which is why we use regenerative, grass-fed and grass-finished tallow from responsibly raised cattle. Every ingredient is thoughtfully selected because I believe what you put on your skin matters.

My goal has always been simple: create skincare that I would feel confident using on my own family. Products that are nourishing, effective, and made with integrity.
